Scalping policy

 

Scalping is allowed now on ECN, Micro-Cents and Nano-Cents accounts (except when an EA used for trading modifies or/and execute orders too frequently, more than 60-120 orders per hour - in such case Metatrader will consider such orders as spam and sends a warning, after which such account could be blocked). Any other EAs and strategies, including Martingale, are also allowed.

 

Be aware, that scalping is still fully prohibited on Mini accounts.

NB: FX Clearing upgraded to a new demo-server in August 2011.

 

You will have to change the IP address for the demo-server to

 

208.116.40.197:443

 

to get Metatrader to connect to the server.

 

 

Here is step by step instructions on how to do it:

 

1. Run Metatrader and go to Tools / Options on the Menu

   (Shortcut press Ctrl O together)

 

 

 

2. Type the IP address 208.116.40.197:443 in at Server: (or Copy & Paste it)

 

 

Click on OK at the bottom of the Window.

 

 

If you do not have a demo account at FX Clearing, then follow the steps in paragraph 3, else go to paragraph 4

 

 

3. If you do not have a demo account at FX Clearing (in other words it is your first time), then follow these steps:

 

Go to File / Login on the menu:

 

 

Click on Open an Account and complete the Popup Window as completely as possible:

 

 

Select "I agree to subscribe to your newsletters" and click Next.

 

 

Select the FX Clearing Demo server - the first time it will show the IP Address that you typed in earlier.

 

Click Next and it will issue you with a User Name and Password for your demo trading account.

 

After a moment Metatrader will connect and you can start trading.

 

 

 

 

Enjoy the demo trading!

 

NB: Metatrader will try to download some updates from the server.

You must allow this action!

 

 

4. If you already have a demo account at FX Clearing, follow these steps:

 

Go to File / Login on the menu:

 

 

 

Type in your demo trading account number and password, and select the new IP address as the server:

 

 

Click Login

 

 

Metatrader will now connect and you are back online again.
